Anthony was born in Astoria, New York on February 23, 1948 to the late Sabato and Lucille Esposito. Anthony proudly served our country as a Gunners Mate in the United States Army and bravely fought in the Vietnam War.
He recently retired after working for Con Edison for 30+ years. Anthony enjoyed traveling with friends and weekly meetings with fellow veterans.
Anthony is pre-deceased by his wife, Marion Esposito, who died Jan 1, 2016.
He is survived by his sister, Lucille White, of Levittown, NY, his daughter, Lauren Runco, her husband, Nicholas and his three grandchildren: Olivia, Anthony and Joseph. Many family and friends who loved him dearly also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, August 20, 2018 at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield, CT. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends will be received from 2pm-5pm on Sunday, August, 19, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
