WILLIAM H. BRADFIELD was born on December 9, 1949 to the parentage of David and Viola Bradfield in Dallas, Texas. When Brad was 14 years of age, he went to live with his grandparents who were affectionately known as Mama Minnie and Grandpa Will. During those four years while living with them, they imparted good work ethics, education, family values and cooking. He graduated from Pinkston High School. He furthered his education at Prairie View A & M University, where he received his B. S. in Mechanical Engineering. He was a Reservoir Engineering Advisor with the Technical Team in Houston, Project Manager of the UTC Standardization Project Team in Jakarta Indonesia and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. During his 36 years with Exxon/Mobil, Brad traveled to over 30 countries while employed at Mobil. Brad was involved primarily in reservoir engineering, with time as an Operations Engineer, a Drilling Supervisor in Midland and Engineering Supervisor in Houston. Brad’s expertise was oil and gas reservoir performance evaluation, waterflood project analysis, economic analysis and project planning, and reserve classification/ estimation/evaluation. He had extensive experience working Texas Gulf of Mexico Offshore properties and North Texas waterfloods. He retired after 36 years from Exxon/Mobil. Brad met and married Barbara Jackson, of Hobbs, New Mexico in 1973. They have lived a loving and blissful life. They were happily married for 44 years and were the proud parents of four children. Brad was preceded in death by his father, David Bradfield and his paternal grandparents William and Minnie Bradfield. Brad is survived by his loving wife Barbara; mother Viola Harris; one daughter Stephanie Franklin(Cedric); three sons: William Hayward Henderson; Everett Wimbish, William Hayward Bradfield, Jr.; Four Grandchildren: Dishae Wimbish, Darian Wimbish, Elijahwon Tyson, Charles Franklin, Jr.; Three Great-Grand Children: Evan Morehead, Mesiah Morehead, Cashton Morehead. Four Brothers: Gary Wayne Bradfield, Rickey David Bradfield, Christopher Charles Bradfield, Keith Anthony King (Katrina): Four Sisters: Shirley Ann Bradfield, Spring Denise Bradfield-Moore (Bobby), Constance Hope Waters-Harris, Johnnie Katheryn Waters; and a host of relatives, friends and acquaintances.
