Walter Edward Frank (Pops)

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 3 2021 at 11:00 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home North Chapel in Dallas, TX. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on April 3, 2021 at the North Chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Walter was born in Lafayette, LA to Armand and Betty Frank on August 24, 1954. He went to high school in Irving, TX where he met the love of his life, Maria and married her on January 5, 1979, after he graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington. He worked for over 40 years at Liberty Mutual as an Industrial Hygienist and retired in December 2020. He was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Burleson, an avid hunter, and an active member of the Arlington Sportsman’s Club . Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his 4 grandchildren.

Walter is preceded in death by his father, Armand Frank and his mother, Betty Frank.

He is survived by his wife, Maria, his son and daughter-in-law, Nicolas and Katie, and his daughter, Lena; his brothers, David and Andy, and sister Susan Knipper; as well as his grandchildren Lillie, Rito, Gabriel and Angelica and many nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Nicolas Frank, Andy Frank, Ryan Frank, David Frank, Tony Martinez, Jared Gaskin, Aaron George, and Jeff Knipper.
