Vicki Denise Caldwell was born on April 5, 1958, in Dallas, Texas, to the parentage of the late Hobert Hornage and Jo L. Caldwell. She attended school in the Dallas Independent School District and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School. She accepted Christ at an early age, and she later joined New Birth Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death. Vicki was employed as a legal administrative assistant with Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons Law Firm for over 20 years. She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, her mother, Jo Laverne Dabney; her special someone, Byron Johnson; sisters, LaDana Whiteside (Jerry), Jan Hornage, Pam Thomas, Veronica Hornage, Annette Hornage, and Dana Hornage; brothers, Randy Whiteside (Rena), Eric Whiteside (Ida), and Dewayne Hornage; six nephews, four nieces, one great nephew, two great nieces; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
