Thomas Glenn Anderson

(June 29, 1958 – March 14, 2013)

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home in Plano for Thomas Glenn Anderson, age 54, who passed away after a courageous battle with ALS on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in McKinney, TX.

Tom was born June 29, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to David V. and Joanne (Peterson) Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Elizabeth (Haugen) Anderson and sons David Robert Anderson of Chicago, IL and Peter Castle Anderson of Denver, CO. Tom graduated from Purdue University, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, in 1980 with a bachelor’s degree in industrial management. He enjoyed a successful 30-year career in sales and sales management in the technology and semi-conductor industries. Tom will be fondly remembered for his unconditional love for his family and friends, devotion to Purdue sports, and his infectious and keen sense of humor. The strength and grace with which Tom fought ALS has served and will continue to serve as an inspiration to many.
