Theodore Franklin “Ted” Lewis, age 53, passed away on April 2nd. He fought a hard 7 week battle with COVID, but is now at peace. Ted was born on July 29, 1967, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julie, and his precious “Fur Baby” Annabelle.
He worked in the software Industry for over 30 years and has friends, peers and co-workers all over the world that have been shocked and saddened by his untimely death. When not at work, and most weekends, you would have found him on his beautiful motor yacht, which he insisted on calling “Julie Ann”. (That is when Julie really knew he loved her J). He spends this time with his dear friends in Boat House-2 at the Eisenhower Yacht Club. Ted will be laid to rest beside his much loved Uncle and namesake, Franklin D. Lewis. Julie and Uncle Frank’s wife, Gloria, will like to think they will be up to “no good”, as they enjoy the views of the Dallas skyline and wait for them all to be together again.
Along with Julie, Ted leaves behind his sister, who he loved so much, Jennifer Waine and her husband, Paul of Carrollton, TX; Parents, Jim Lewis and wife, Marge of Belen, NM; Bette Armstrong and husband, Jim of Carrollton, TX; Mother and Father-in-law, Jim and Ann Selig of Ft. Smith, AR; Brother and Sister-in-laws, Mitch and Cindy Jones of Compton, AR, and Doug and Michelle Morgan of Clarksville, AR; Nephews, Forrest and Hunter Waine of Carrollton, TX; and Niece, Lindsey Jones of Compton, AR; as well as many more uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He will be missed forever.
Visitation will be at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, on Northwest Hwy from 4pm-7pm on
Wednesday April 7th.
Graveside service will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, in Dallas, Texas, at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 8th. 3020 Oak Grove Ave., Dallas, TX, 75204.
