He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his wife Sandra, neighbor Charmaine, and the Kindred Hospice nurse staff which included Chaplain Perry Maze.
T.C. attended Farragut High School in Chicago, Illinois. He was very active in the orchestra band and the choir.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force where he faithfully served for several years. He was also an active member of the retired Air Force Reserve. T.C. was honorably discharged and received the Victory Medal. After leaving the Air Force he went on to work for General Electric and was employed for over 35 years. He never missed a day at work.
Mr. T.C., along with his family formed a gospel group of their own and performed at many places. During his time in the Air Force, T.C. performed in many states. He was the lead singer and also the saxophone player for his gospel group.
T.C. was a member of Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, with Rev. CW Wallace, until his death. Mr. T.C. was also a 33rd degree Mason. His hobbies included traveling, singing all forms of music, playing the saxophone, studying African American History, politics, watching westerns, speaking at his granddaughter’s school, attending breakfasts for veterans, supporting his community, and participating in Hamilton Park Parade Block Parties, as well as the Hamilton Park Civic League.
T.C. was blessed to have 6 children before he remarried; T.C. Jr, Tyrone, Teddy, Ruby, Valarie, and Angela. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother, Andrew Webb; and Daughter, Ruby Hernandez. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Sandra, sons TC Webb II, Tyrone, Teddy Charles and wife Raquel; daughters Angela Widenlow, and Valerie Lee; grandchildren Demarcus, Sanaa, Trinton Curtis, TC Webb III, Brittney, Adrian and Pricilla; Brothers Tommie Lee Webb, and John Wesley; Sisters Rose Romain, and Betty Easterling; as well as his best friend and neighbor TW Silmon.
