Shirley Ann Bragg

Shirley Ann Bragg, age 83, passed away on March 1, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on September 22, 1940 in Dallas, Texas to Paul Hall and Juanita McBee Hall. Shirley was raised in East Dallas and graduated from Woodrow High School in 1958.

She married Jimmy Crump in 1959 and the couple had 2 kids. She was a Surgical Coordinator at Mary Shiels Hospital - Baylor Uptown, where she worked for more than 40 years.

In her spare time Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, listening to music, and being with her cats.

Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving and caring, but also feisty, little woman, who could definitely stand her ground. She was a fun and beautiful person.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul Hall and Juanita McBee Hall; her sister, Paula Wilson; and brother-in-law, Wayne Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Gail Duncan; son, James Scott Crump; 2 grandsons, Terin James Duncan and Clayton Cody Duncan; 2 great-grandsons, Cylus Emil Duncan and Jagger Dean Duncan; nephew, Ricky Wilson; niece Traci Whitten and family; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.
