Serafin Alvarez went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 13, 2020.
Serafin "Joe" came to this country for the American dream, with his ambitious drive and his hard work ethics he was able to accomplish his goal in no time.
Through his own business he was always willing to help anyone that needed work. He'd teach them his trade and empower them to be independent. As soon as they were ready to move on he'd reach back and help the next one in line. He has bestowed a legacy in his descendants. He taught us to always help those in need, to not take any short cuts, and if you envision your dream you could have it. He never met a stranger, and was a friend to all, he lived very humbly. He will remain forever in our hearts, and we'll never take for granted what he did for us and our future.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife; Selma Blanca Zilli, sibling; Ruben Alvarez Colecio, Antonia Alvarez Colecio and Armando Alvarez Colecio, children; Janie Alvarez, Tonya Camargo, Yvonne Trejo, Frank Alvarez, Claudia Mercado and Oliva Mercado19 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
