Robert "Bob" Verne Skelton

November 20, 1924, in Sisters, Oregon. He served proudly in the Army Air Corp as a

B24 pilot during WWII. He was a dedicated member of Wilshire Baptist Church, as well

as the North Texas Trailer Club, Hobbycrafters, Northway Crafters & the Happy

Warriors. After the war end in 1945, he married Susie Skelton. Together, they had three

children: son William Bates who preceded him in death 1949, son Jerry Skelton, and

daughter Sherry Skelton Daniel. He married Betty Baker in 1999. Bob passed away,

surrounded by loved ones, in their home on February 5, 2020.

He leaves behind his cherished wife Betty Skelton, their children: Jerry Skelton and

wife Lynne, Sherry Skelton Daniel and husband Clif, Jerri McCoy and husband Kevin,

Joe Baker and wife Leah, Laurie Wiginton (widow of Ronald Baker, son) and husband

Jeff; grandchildren: Mendy Tapp and husband Jeff, Jennifer Santmeyer and husband

Robert, Patrick Crockett, James Skelton and wife Janice, Andrew Daniel and wife Katie,

Holly Baker Tello and husband Roland, Heather Steele and husband Tom, Stephanie

Roman, Jeni Russell and Tim Baker, Tim McCoy and wife Amanda, Lacey McCoy;

great-grandchildren: Giselle Tapp, Rowan Tapp, Ethan Santmeyer, Ryan Santmeyer,

Taylor Steele, Travis Steele, Griffin Tello, André Daniel, Maya Daniel, Aaron Daniel,

Anderson Daniel, Mamie Brownlee, Emma Brownlee, Isaac Brownlee, Elijah Brownlee,

Alyssa McCoy Korey Bruce, Kaylee Bruce and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces,

great-nieces and nephews and many, many more.
