Rafael was born Feb 16, 1939 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Clemente and Antonia Vera. Survived by children; Maria Aguilar (Alex), Rafael Vera Jr., Norma Vera and Myrna Korzeniewski (Darrin), grand-children; Cecelia, Alexandria, Bella, Dylan and numerous family members and friends. He was preceded in death by wife of 44 years, Maria de Pilar Vera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Mar 27 at 10am at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, TX 75220. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, Mar 26 4-8PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, with Rosary at 6PM.
