Patsy ‘Pat” Lou Morey, age 88, of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully Saturday, March 25, 2023. She was born to George E. Brooks and Eula Stegall in Fort Worth, Texas on January 6, 1935. She married her husband Thomas J. Morey on December 29, 1984 in Dallas, Texas.
After 22 and a half years of service, she retired as a Lead Secretary of Flight Operations – Addison Airport with Rockwell International after joining Collins Radio in Richardson, Texas in 1967. An active Dallas member of CCCA, AACA, and RROC for over 40 years and the Brewer Cemetery Association of Nacogdoches County. She was also a proud member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) and Ancestry.com
She is survived by her loving husband Thomas J. Morey of Dallas, Texas; children Brenda (Mark) Hinton of Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, Sherry (Les) Martin of Dallas, Texas, and Travis (Jennifer) Morey of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren Kathleen (Riley) Busenlener of Metairie, Lousiana, Colin Hinton of Brooklyn, New York, Sarah (Ryan) Markham of McKinney, Texas, Jenna (Ricardo) Loredo of Prosper, Texas, and Sam Morey of Dallas, Texas; great granddaughters June and Brooke Busenlener.
She had a wealth of close friends and will be sorely missed by family, especially by Hitch the cat.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make a memorial consideration on behalf of Pat Morey to the Brewer Cemetery Association of Nacogdoches County, Texas at 2803 Forest Hills Dr, League City, Texas 77573 or to a pet charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Dallas, Texas from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 10:00 am in the Bill Sparkman Memorial Chapel at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas 75225 with interment to follow.
