Patricia Ruth Poland (Pat) was born January 21, 1943 and passed away June 28, 2017. Pat was born in Dallas Texas to Raymond and Ruth Kirk who she preceded in death. She graduated from Oak Cliff High School and lived in The Colony Texas for the past 30 plus years with her husband Roy Poland who she married September 14th, 1979. She is survived by Roy and three children, Robyn Hill, Rhonda Flake & her husband Lee Flake, Rick Lewelling & his wife Tracy Lewelling, nine grandchildren Kendra Lewelling, Bailey Lewelling, Robert & Christi Smallwood, Risha Smallwood, Jose Velez, Brianna Raab, Colton Raab, Candace Hill, and Savannah Flake. Great grandchildren include Bobby and Breanna Velez. Pat enjoyed life to the fullest, she loved to laugh, she knew her lord and savior Jesus Christ, and loved spending time with family and friends who will greatly miss her. Services will be held for Pat at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6000 S R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas Texas 75232. Viewing is scheduled for Friday June 30th from 6 pm to 8 pm, with funeral service on Saturday July 1st at 12 noon. A reception will follow Saturday services at Laurel Land as well.
