He was born October 14, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Philip and Sylvia Landa.
Norman loved Oklahoma and referred to it as “God’s country”. He received his B.A. and law degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he was a member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity. He adored all things OU and even named the family dog “Boomer”.
Like his father, he became a lawyer, and he practiced in Tulsa before moving to Dallas in the late 1960s. He was highly respected in his field, labor and employment law, and he valued his close friendships with many of his clients and colleagues.
Norman dearly loved his family, his friends and his dogs.
He was tremendously kind and generous and will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association.
