Nancy Pennington (nee Emmons) passed away after a lingering illness, February 1, 2022, and surrounded by her loving family. Born July 10, 1948, she was a devoted elementary and English Secondary Language teacher to students in Dallas and Garland Public School for 41 years. As beloved wife of Richard Pennington, mother of Christopher (Stephanie) Jackson and grandma to Scarlet and Jade Jackson, she devoted her life to family and never missed a family reunion. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents,
Charles and Dorothy Emmons.
A Celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2:00 PM with Visitation, Tuesday, February 8, 5-8 PM at Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Tpke, Dallas, TX 75252 (972.256.6337).
