Max "Bill" William Kenney, Jr., age 76, passed away on December 1, 2022, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1946, in El Paso, Texas, to Max William and Alice Murphy Kenney. Bill was raised in El Paso and attended Irvin High School, UTEP and Southern Methodist University.
He was the Vice President at Smithco, Inc. where we worked for more than 40 years. He and his wife were known in the community for bringing Christmas joy to generations of students at St. Mark's Catholic School as Santa and Mrs. Claus.
He is survived by wife Bonnie Jean Kenney, who he married in 1966; daughter and son-in-law Kelly Madonna and Thomas Madonna; and son Robert Kenney; grandchildren Megan and husband, Charlie, Ashley and husband, Brannon, and Christopher and fiance, Cooper; soon-to-be great-grandchildren, William and Clara; and cousins Lila Murphy and Grant and Michelle Murphy. He is preceded in death by his parents Max William and Alice Murphy Kenney.
In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and caring for his faithful dog, Huggs. He will be remembered for his generosity, humor and overwhelming ability to make those around him feel loved.
