Winkler, Mary Ellen Mary Ellen Winkler died 8-1-11; born 1918 in Claiborn County, TN. She attended Berea College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She met and married John Park Winkler while at the College of the Bible in Lexington. They shared 50 years of marriage and in serving the Lord. She is survived by their 6 children Rev. John Park (Ruth) Winkler Jr., Evelyn Johns, Linda (Ron) Dampier, Anne (Frank) Hundley, Myron Winkler, Susan Kroeger, and their 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home at 6-8pm on Thurs, Aug 4. Funeral Services will be held Fri, Aug 5, at 10am at Northway Christian Church, 7202 W. Northwest Hwy, Dallas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Northway Christian Church for the Pension Fund of the Christian Church - 13th Check Fund - assisting faithful ministers and missionaries in need.
