Mary was born February 8, 1940 in Dallas, TX, and passed away April 20, 2024 in Dallas, TX.
She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri, and East Texas State, now Texas A&M - Commerce. She held a master's degree from University of North Texas. A career educator, she taught for more than 30 years for the Dallas Independent School District.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, Sam and Frances Wagliardo, her brother John, her brother-in-law Jim Loftis, and her sister-in-law Ouida Roberson.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann R. Hawkins (Miles Kimball), and Lynn N. Rushton Reed (Blake Reed); grandsons, James Edward and Charles Cosley Rushton; brothers and sisters-in-law Ancil Roberson, Leora Wagliardo, Sam Wagliardo, Jr. (Cheryl), Carrie Loftis, Larry Wagliardo (Kimberly), and David Wagliardo (Judy); as well as many nephews, nieces, and extended family members.
