Mary B. Downes, age 87, born September 24, 1925, in Shoshone, Idaho and passed away, November 21, 2012 in Littleton, Colorado, from complications of a stroke. She is survived by daughter, Mary Ann; sons, Louis and wife Chris, Harold and wife Vickie, Patrick and wife Kim, and Dennis. She also had 9 grandchildren, Mike, Dan, Heather, Sarah, Amanda, Pat, Kelly, Josh and Matt. She had 8 great-grandchildren, Louisa, Fergus, Allie, Drew, Mason, Layla, Evan and Brennan. Mary and husband Matt were residents of Northbrook since 1951, before retiring to Texas. Many Northbrook teens knew Mary as “Mom” because everytime they came through her door, she would feed them. She will be greatly missed by all. She was the greatest mom in the world.
