Mary Eva Bee

Mary Eva Bee went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 21, 2018 at the age of 97. Born January 16, 1921 in Oak Cliff Texas, Mary was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Raymond, her son David Ray.

Her father Rudolph John, her mother Anna Catherine Schneider Reitz, her brother RJ, brother Andrew, brother Roy, sister Cecelia and sister Catherine,

She is survived by her sons, James Glenn and his wife Betty of Eustace, Charles Dennis and his wife Donna of Denton, Gary Wayne and his wife Billie of Lake Whitney, daughters Donna Jeanne Lackey and her husband Harry of Oak Cliff, Paula Kaye Cole and her husband Mark of Arlington, Sharon Annette Skondin and her husband Dean of Dallas. Brother, Edwin Reitz of Dallas. 15 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Multiple nieces and nephews.

Mary married Charles Raymond Bee on February 23, 1941 and they raised seven children in Oak Cliff.

Mary was a bookkeeper, homemaker, seamstress and artist. Her love for art showed in her paintings and drawings with her favorites being that of birds and flowers. Mary entered many of her pieces in the State Fair and won numerous ribbons for her art. The Oak Cliff Tribune also did an article on her artistic talent.
