Marilyn was born on May 11, 1928 and passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 92. She was born in Margaret, Texas at home in the country, barely weighing 3 lbs. Marilyn went to grade school in Vernon, Texas through the 7th grade and was promoted to the 9th grade where she attended school in Childress, TX; Clovis, NM; and Tyler, TX. Her parents then moved to Dallas where she went on to graduate from Forest Avenue High in June 1946. Marilyn loved school and learning.
She met Herbert Green, Jr. on the city bus going to work and they were married on February 11, 1949. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily and writing letters about Christs coming in the sky. She enjoyed reading her political mail, and was happy receiving 15-25 envelopes of mail daily that consisted of 5 different Christian Jewish Materials. All mail was truthful and informative.
