She was a past Worthy Matron and lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Bethany Christian Church was her place of worship. She is preceded in death by her father Lawson S. Cole Sr., her mother Mary O. Ford Cole, siblings Barbara Ware, Bessie Cole, Annie Shook and Lawson Cole Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm - 4:00pm on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Grove Hill Funeral Home. Graveside Service at 11:30am on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
