Malcolm Eugene Hamilton was born May 4, 1925 in San Saba, Texas to William English Hamilton and Myrta Walker Hamilton. He was the youngest of three children with older brother W.E. and an older sister Melba. He served in the European Theater of World War II with the 154th Armored Signal Company, 14th Armored Division, United States Army. Following the war he moved to Dallas, Texas and served in the Texas Highway Patrol. He became a member of Edgefield Church of Christ where he met his wife Florine Hufstedler and they were married on October 7, 1950. Two children, a daughter, Brenda Florine and a son, Ruel Malcolm were born to them. After his wife Florine died in 1983, he married Katherine Joy Williams who passed away in 2002. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ruel & Dana Hamilton and by his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda & Gilbert Thompson. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Chris Hamilton, John Hamilton, Mandi Hamilton, Brenton Thompson, Sara Rember, and Carly Thompson-Peters. Lastly he is survived by his great-grandchildren: Jack Hamilton, Evelyn Hamilton, Lucy Hamilton, and James Rember.
