She received her early education and graduated from Morehouse High School and attended Wiley College, receiving her certification for teaching. While she was attending Wiley College she met and married the love of her life, Mr. Choyce Joseph Moon, Jr. (CJ). Mae Frances was blessed to be the mother of two boys, Ronald and Donald.
Mae Frances and Choyce moved to Dallas after Choyce honorable discharge from the Army. She began her career in early childhood education for over thirty-five years. Mae Frances retired from teaching at Dan D. Rogers Elementary in Dallas, Texas. She was a loyal Cowboys fan.
Mae Frances was a loyal and faithful member of Community United Methodist Church and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
On Monday, June 01, 2020, Mae Frances Crowder Moon entered into her eternal home of glory. She was welcomed by her parents; brother, George Crowder III; son, Ronald Choyce Moon and loving and faithful husband, Choyce Joseph Moon, Jr. (CJ)
Mae leaves to forever cherish her memories, one son, Donald Moon; grandsons, Leviticus Antron Murphy, Dante Moon and Dominic Moon; sister, Peggy Ann Crowder and Paula Annette Higgins and a host of other relatives and friends.
