Lisa Kay Welton

Our beautiful, blue-eyed sister, passed away October 12, 2016. She was born August 11, 1965, to her loving parents Billie Ruth and John Scott Welton, who preceded her in death. Lisa is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Mary Lou Welton and daughter Renee of Richardson, TX, son, Dr. Scott T. Welton and his children Riley and Reece of Cincinnati, OH, and daughter, Kristen E. Welton of Plano, TX; brother and sister-in-law, John and Kathy Welton and daughter Kara Meketa of Little Elm, TX, daughter and her husband Amy and Trey Knapp and their son, Eli, of Southlake, TX. Also, aunt Toni Welton, of Irving, TX. Lisa was a special blessing to all of her family and friends. She showed us the true meaning of unconditional love. Also, how fun it was to make any circumstance better with dessert, especially chocolate and listening and watching Garth Brooks! She formed life-long friendships with those who came into her life, especially her housemates and staff from the two group homes where she lived. We are forever grateful for all of the loving care they gave Lisa. We are left with many precious memories to cherish.
