Sis. Alcorn would always greet you with a smile and you would leave her feeling Happy from her good sense of humor. 

We will truly miss her. 

Momme! I’m going to truly miss you. You will always be in my heart. I will remember all things you taught me and I promise I will make you smile in heaven while you shine on me and the family. Just like the song I can still hear you  sing 🎶 “ I learn how to lean and depend on Jesus”

Whenever I would see Ms. Alcorn, I would always say hi Mommay instead of Mommie. No matter how many times everyone tried to correct me I will still say Mommay. I think she got a kick out of that and would always smile. 

Keep on smiling in heaven!

From your nieces and nephews in Houston. We thank God for the time we had together to get to know you. You stole our hearts.!! Enjoyed our telephone conversations. We will miss you. Praying for strength for your children grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In Jesus’s name. 

Ms. Alcorn was a very sweet and kind lady.  Every time I would see her she would greet me with a  pleasant smile always saying hey Fish, how are you doing today.  I would answer fine and she would say good that's the way it's supposed to be.

She will be missed.

I remember the last time I saw you. Your last words to me were, “Nikki have a good day at work”. I’m going to miss you so much Momme. Words can’t express how I feel. The bond we had was so incredible. You made me laugh and cry. You always told me to never give up and to always be kind. Not having you around is going to be hard, but I know you’re in your mansion in heaven God has made for you. Momme, you graduated from this earth with your wings 👑. Don’t worry.  My mom and I are  going to be okay. Tell my granny and uncle I love them🙏🏾

I’ve only known you for a short period of time, although, it felt like I’ve known you forever. I’m going to miss you calling me Sleeping Beauty. You were so comedic. I will miss your angelic aura. Wherever we (your family)  go, we will always feel your presence. It soothes my heart to know that there is a bit of heaven in my home knowing you’re finally  home. Rest In Paradise angel. 

I will forever remember the time we sat together on the couch and talked about our faith and how God speaks to us. I will always cherish that memory and store it deep in my heart. I will miss your voice and your witty sense of humor, but I have joy knowing that you have finally made it back home! I love you, Mommie!

Mommie! I can hear you now saying “Hey, Did you get us some Rudy’s”.  I’m very thankful for the time I got to spend with you. Heaven has gained an angel and you got your wings.  We will miss you.
