LeRoy F. Anderson, II, born August 07, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio, passed away on October 31, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of Leroy F. Anderson, I and Marguerite and Philip Pearl, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sharron Lanier Anderson; son, Bret Anderson, wife Jennifer, grandchildren Brandon and Kayla; daughter, Kristin Stampini, husband Mark; son, Matthew Anderson.
LeRoy graduated high school at the age of 16, served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis, achieved his MBA from the University of Michigan, was the first person at IBM to contract a $1 million sales deal, and retired as a partner from Ernst & Young.
More than anything, he valued and loved his time spent with his family and friends. He was an avid sports player and fan, and was passionate about football, billiards, tennis, golf, and snow and water skiing. He also enjoyed NASCAR and Indy Car Races, and was a diehard maize and blue University of Michigan football fan.
