      Today marks the first year without you and my heart is so empty. You were a BIG part of my life and I try to talk to you daily still like you haven’t left. I know the pain was unbearable and God answered the call that I dreaded but understand now. You are deeply missed and loved, I know that when I see you in your grandchildren. Just got an email yesterday that showed you still being the primary contact for one of our applications.  Reminded me of the good old days when we were knee deep in research.  I miss talking and working with you Lana.

I met Lana Lee back in 2011 at Bank of America, she always treated me with kindness and love. She made sure to embed in me to not stay at work if I did not have to, go home and be with the family is what she would always tell me. She will be dearly miss and pray for peace with her family and know she loved you all and filled with joy talking about you. 

I met Lana at Bank of America many years ago.  We worked closely together when she started in ULZ, during the EOD process.  She had a wealth of knowledge and was one of the sweetest persons I’ve known.  When I heard of her passing I felt the loss of someone who brought so much love and joy to this world.  She was such a good person to me and everyone around her.  My condolences to her lovely family & friends.  May the Lord provide everyone with strength, comfort, peace, understanding, and unconditional love during this time and for always.  Her memory, laughter and smile will carry on with each of us.  In God’s Hands…  

Lan, I knew from the time you were in the 10th grade, when I knew were coming around the corner of the high school halls (I could hear you popping your gum that you bought at the corner store b4 school), I could see you in my mind b4 I saw you visually;  walking proudly down the hall (whew pow, whew pow, you'd go): and I knew you were  going to make many people proud to have you in their lives. 
I'll miss hearing you call me Rit, now Ri-ta lol, (and calling each other fat cat, cause that's  what daddy would call us) but most of all I'll miss hearing you call me little sister. 

I miss you big sister and will continue now with you forever in my heart.

My favorite memory of Nanny is every Christmas she would eat all the candy and then put it back , don't worry I helped ✋☺️. I remember when nanny took a bite out of soap thinking it was candy and when Christmas came that's soap had a little bite out of it ,the good times I will never forget. Fly high Nanny , I love You

Omg my heart is broken Lana and I have been friends since 1974 . I worked for her at the bank and we immediately became friends from day one. When I left We remained friends  and got into everything together .I talked Lana into moving to Irving so I could be close to help her and Paula . Lana was like family .She had the biggest heart that you could imagine . I will forever miss Lana and dont know what I will do without her . I know she is out of pain and with her mother and lots of family. I know I have a guardian angel watching over me . Nan and I loved her very much as she did us. Take care prayers for Paula and her family . Love Virginia 

I meet Ms. Lana in downtown Dallas, at Bank of America on Elm street. Me and her would sit in the front of the building smoking and talking. One day we was sitting out there, she ask me what is your name. We come out here and sit and I've never knew your name. Now let me remind you 2 or 3 months have went by and we didn't know each other names. I told her I'm Gladis, she said hi Gladis I'm Lana. Nice to meet you. Ms. Lana came out one night told me her department was down siding. I ask her what kind of work she do, she started to tell me and I told her about an analyst position in The ULZ . She applied and got the job. Me her began great friends from that point on. Sit out and smoke and talk about our daughter.  Our first grandbaby. Ms. Lana I sure will miss you. Love you...

Celebrating with my Dad's,  you're Uncle Paul's  birthdays for a few years and the last mini family gathering was good times! He always says he loves his nieces and nephews.  He also loved to play dominoes with us all. Thank you  Lana for those good  memories! We will miss you! Celebrate with all family members that have already made it to Heaven! Hug them for us.

My most favorable memory is our "Cousin Journey" in 2019! Lana and I are first cousins and had a lot of our adult life stories we  needed to catch up on,, so over a period of 19 days we took an amazing trip sharing and enjoying a dream vacation. First we took a 7 day Alaskan Cruise , an amazing trip, but the highlight was getting a stamp in our passport in Canada! Then we flew from  Seattle, Wa to  Las Vegas for 10 days of adventure.  I'm going to miss you Cuz when I  take another Cruise,  but I will always carry you in my heart!

There are truly too many to count, my most favorite memory of her would be the many times her grand baby would not let me sleep after working 3rd shift pregnant and having this great idea to work mornings right after giving birth.  Ava would keep me up till 4-5am every morning until her Nanny walked in the door after working 3rd shift, as soon as Ava’s head was on her Nanny’s shoulder- she was out. She just wanted her Nanny, she was and will always be Nanny’s baby. I love you mom. ❤️

We went to dialysis together she was   The sweetest person in the world I'm going to miss our conversation we had  Monday, Wednesday, Friday love lana so much 

I got to know Lana at Bank of America back in 2009.  She taught me a lot of things about family, life, and work.  She was a dear friend to me and I was always glad to walk into the office and see her there.  She took pride in her work and would tell stories about the old days which I enjoyed listening to.   She talked about her family and how much she loved them and how proud she was of them.  One of my favorite memories of Lana is how she would help me correct my emails whenever I didn't have the proper grammar or punctuation.  At first I didn't like it but eventually I welcomed it.  She retired a few years ago but to this day, I go over each email as though Lana is right there helping me.  She will always be a part of us now.  I will miss you Lana and I will always remember you.            

Lana was a truly amazing person. I met her in 1974 at Bank of America we became and remained friend all these years. Lana was kind, and had the most  generous, carring nature  and the most beautiful heart. There are to many memories to share. Paula, Rita and the rest of the family there is one thing I know you have lost a precious person. I will miss my talks with her. Sue Bradley Cate Lafoon
