Kalpesh was born in India in 1970 and came to America as a young boy, spending most of his childhood in Dallas. Kalpesh then obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and his MBA from SMU. He devoted nearly two decades in AT&T's Mergers-and-Acquisitions Group, and rose to an executive leadership position.
His zest and intelligence combined with his quick wit to make him the center of nearly every room he entered. And when friends and family were faced with difficult choices, it was his advice they sought.
Kalpesh is survived by his wife of 19 years Sejal, his 13-year-old son Vivek, his 11-year-old daughter Maya, his sister Alpa, his parents Ramesh and Manju, and a legion of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving relatives.
Memorial Services will be held at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home (7405 West Northwest Highway) in Dallas on Tuesday, July 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kalpesh's name may be made to the Vogel Alcove, whose mission is to help young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness, or to the American Heart Association. Contributions to the Vogel Alcove can be made by calling 214-368-8686 or through their website VogelAlcove.org, and contributions to the American Heart Association can be made through their website at Heart.org.
