Juanita Adel Richardson Nix - Obituary
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Nix of 64 years, their daughter, Barbara Lee, their granddaughter Linda Ann, 5 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by children Linda Brown and husband Leslie, Carolyn Nix, Robert Nix and wife Melinda. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by one sister, Ellen Foster, also a centenarian.
Throughout her life, Juanita served the Lord at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Colonial Hills Baptist Church and Shady Oaks Baptist Church.
She was a homemaker, baby-sitter, seamstress and a Bible teacher. Her favorite pastime was reading the Bible. She read through the Bible over 100 times seeking greater knowledge of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Family will receive friends in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Midlothian, 1651 S Midlothian Pkwy, Midlothian, TX at Noon on December 16th. Celebration of life to follow at 1PM.
