He was ordained as a Deacon in the Catholic Church on June 29, 2002, and devoted much of the remaining years of his life to the service of children, the elderly, and the infirm. In his ministry, he made special efforts to reach those who felt excluded or overlooked and he has touched countless lives. Among other roles, he served as a chaplain to hospitals, hospices for the dying, and police. He took great pride in his work with the communities of Mary Immaculate Catholic Church and cherished the relationships he found there.
Michael spent his life serving and giving to others. He will be sorely missed.
