John Richard Hannon was born November 11, 1955 in Dallas Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Winifred Hannon and his sister Ann Groebe. Rick died at home on the 10 acres he called home in Wills Point, Texas in February of 2014. Rick was the ultimate good guy and best friend. He would give you the shirt off his back and would not hesitate to tell you what he really thought. He loved softball, fishing, and spending time on his land in East Texas; gardening, and tending to his animals. He would often craft small gifts to let you know he was thinking about you. Rick leaves us with many memories of wild antics and laughter. He will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on August 1, 2014 at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. The family welcomes friends to attend the celebration of John’s life.
