Dr. Jeremy Ethan Alperin, 83, of Weslaco, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Jordan and Esther Alperin in Boston, Massachusetts. He married Cynthia in April 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a highly respected Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon who practiced in Weslaco where he charmed children and Winter Texans alike for almost 30 years. He was preceded in death by Cynthia and his parents. He is survived by his brother, Jonathan, his son, Greg and his daughter, Courtney. He was an avid runner long before it was a common exercise and could be seen jogging daily through the streets of Weslaco. He enjoyed chatting with colleagues in the Doctor’s Lounge at Knapp Medical Center, attending Harvest Night and going to Dinner Club with friends. Those that knew him enjoyed his witty sense of humor - he was never one to shy away from a pun - and knew of his love of word puzzles, from crosswords to more recently Wordle. He will be missed by all that knew him.
