Jean Grace

Jean was born on the family farm near Mineral Arkansas on May 3rd, 1926.

She was raised in Oklahoma City, where she attended Northeast High School and Oklahoma University.

While at college she met her future husband and fellow pharmacy student Duane Grace.

They were married on December 20th, 1946.

Jean received her B.S. in Pharmacy at The University of Oklahoma in 1948.

After completing college Jean and her husband moved to Dallas where they raised their family and pursued their careers. Jean worked at the same drug store on Lemmon Avenue for over 35 years where she held a prominent position in the pharmacy.

In 1991 Jean was bestowed a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma.

Jean is survived by her children Caryl L. Nelson-Grace, Mark Grace and David Grace; three grandchildren, Brandie M. Nelson, Don M. Nelson and Maggie April Grace; and her great grandchild Auriella D. Nelson.

Jean will be remembered by her family for her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.

The funeral service for Jean will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel, located at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220.

Burial will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
