He was son of Herschel Arthur Wild and Martha Ann (Gage) Wild.
He is survived by his brother Charles E. Wild and sister Mary Lou Anderson; He is also survived by his loving son Glen Carl Wild and daughter- in- law Judy Lynn Wild and grandsons Scott Carl Wild and Anthony Lee Kalanquin; He is survived by his loving daughter Dixie Lee Williams and Son- in- law Stephen K. Williams and grandson Walker Wild Williams and granddaughter Marie Elyse Williams. He is also survived and loved by 8 nephews and 4 nieces.
James is predeceased by his beloved wife of 23 years, Nancy Ruth (Harber) Wild, his parents and his sister Patricia Ann Roberson.
James received a Masters Degree in Industrial Arts and was an educator and football coach for 24 years at Highland Park McCulloch Middle school where he became part of that community and touched countless student and athletes’ lives. He retired from education and ran his Wild Paint Contracting business until he moved to Spring, Texas in 1995 to care for his grandchildren Walker and Marie and became the “Ultimate Nanny and Grandfather”.
Funeral Services will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas, TX on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with processional to graveside service at Grove Hill Cemetery immediately following.
