A celebration of life will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, March 9th, 2019, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, Texas.
Jim was born February 21, 1965, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the son of Harold and Elsie Ganzer. He grew up in North Dakota and eventually made his home in Texas.
Jim worked in the title industry for many years. His hard work and talent earned him his last position of Senior Vice-President at Secured Title of Texas. Jim had a passion for helping those struggling in life and supported homeless shelters and enjoyed volunteering at the SoupMobile.
Jim loved children and would always have the young ones howling with laughter at family gatherings. He was still a big kid at heart.
He is survived by his daughter Samantha (Reed) Vollmering, Corpus Christi ,Texas, his sister Lori (Tim) Yantzer, Bismarck, North Dakota, and best friend and cousin Dean (Stacy) Ganzer, San Diego, California. Other special family members in his life, Kalcey (Tahleah & Taesha) Schneider, Bismarck, Kaylen (Casey & Harvin) Hausauer, Bismarck and Reed Ganzer, San Diego.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elsie.
He will be remembered for his support of family and friends, always ready to lend a hand and lift people up.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the SoupMobile (soupmobile.org) or the Alzheimers Association (alz.org).
