Jack Farley Vaughn, age 67, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, in Dallas, Texas. He was born February 26, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jack R. and Marilyn J. (Farley) Vaughn. Jack spent his career as a CPA, primarily in the hotel industry. Jack loved to play golf and was passionate about music, especially classic rock. He had a great sense of humor, an infectious smile, and was well loved by all who were fortunate enough to have him in their life.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Ewer Vaughn; stepson Charles (Carrie) McCann; sisters Vicki Vaughn (Dave McLain), Julie Godfrey (Jay Alley), and Shannon (Don) Howell; mother-in-law Ardene Langfield; sisters-in-law Pam Caston and Sherry (Randall) Reed; brother-in-law Ron (Juliana) Ewer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 29, at 12:00 p.m., at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel, 7405 West Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX, 75225. A light reception will follow in the parlor. Attire: Smart Casual. Jack’s family requests you wear something blue, his favorite color.
