Irene James was born to Mattie and John Roberts on December 8, 1929. She left this earth peacefully on February 13, 2020 at 90 years of age. Irene was an only child but was known to be a very unselfish little girl.
This description followed her all her life.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Deloris and Gary LaFave, daughter and son-in-law, Belinda and Johnny Bertholf, son John James, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marlin and her great-grandson Wade Allen Smith.
As a devoted Christian, ordained minister, wife, mother and grandmother, she was always busy with her family and her church. She loved everyone and loved to serve. She was a pianist, singer and composer. She had many friends and acquaintances and touched many people with her sweet spirit. Irene will be greatly missed
