She was survived by her daughter Dee Clayton, and husband Michael Clayton of Arlington TX, and daughter Ann Olive; grandson Chris Clayton, and wife Kara of Columbia TN; granddaughter Kim Clayton Soto, and husband Bobby of Midlothian TX; and grandson Kendal Clayton and wife Rebekah of Murfreesboro TN; and nine great-grandchildren – Corbin, Callen, Cade Cohen, Brenley, Tyler, Harbour, Kambree, and Kennedy. She is also survived by various nephews, and nieces.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Chester Olive, best known as ‘PaPa’; her father John Wesley Tyler and mother Leta Lue Rencher Tyler; brothers Hoyt Tyler, Grady Tyler, Cleo “Sugar Boy” Tyler, Joe Tyler, Clarence Karr, Cecil Karr, Jim Karr, and sisters Willie Karr Bradford and Annette Karr Buning; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
She was a member since 1958 of the Hampton Place / Cockrell Hill Baptist Church, and lived 73 years in the same home on Gilpin Street in Dallas, and the last five years at the Watercrest Senior Living Community in Mansfield, TX.
