Guillermo L Hurtado

Guillermo L Hurtado, 85, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022 in Crandall, Texas. He was born June 26, 1937 in Jalisco, Mexico to Fidencio Hurtado y Maria Guadalupe Lopez. Guillermo was raised in Zamora, Michoacán.

He married Maria Teresa Garcia in 1960 and the couple had seven children. He was a Lead Man at Dallas Overhead Door Corporation where he worked for more than twenty-five years.

In his spare time Guillermo enjoyed sports.

His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, smart, hard worker, humble, good husband, great father, great grandfather, sports enthusiast, and great provider.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fidencio Hurtado and Maria Guadalupe Lopez; his loving son-in- law Jesus Banda and brother, Raul Hurtado.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Teresa Hurtado; son, Juan M. Hurtado and his wife, Maria del Carmen Hurtado, son, Guillermo Hurtado and his wife Sara Trevino, son, Jesus F. Hurtado; daughter, Maria G. Banda; son, Victor D. Hurtado and his wife, Rosalba Hurtado, son, Ricardo Hurtado and his wife, Thelma Hurtado, son, Salvador Hurtado; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; brothers, Guillermo, Enrique, Jorge and Sergio Hurtado-Avina; sister, Norma Hurtado and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Guillermo will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A rosary will occur Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75247. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill North Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220. An interment will occur Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.
