Arleen Charlton Lawrence passed away peacefully on November 2, 2011, surrounded by family. She was born February 20, 1920, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to William and Nell Charlton. Arleen moved to Lancaster County, Pa., in 1951 with her husband, Dr. Clinton Lawrence. In 1979 they moved to Dallas, Tx.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Lois Lawrence, brothers William Charlton, Dr. Wade Charlton and sister, Evelyn C. Bosley. She is survived by her son Edward Lawrence, Carrollton, Tx., and daughter-in-law Cynthia Lawrence, Carrollton, Tx., and her daughter Joan L. Hyman and son-in-law Morris, New Orleans, La., and grandchildren Robbie Lawrence, Elizabeth Hyman and Ben Hyman. Also survived by nieces Donna B. Lance of Dallas, Tx., and Diana B. Gray of Tahoe City, Calif.
The family would like to thank the staff of Prestonwood Nursing Center for their loving care of Arleen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
