As a member of Greater Memorial Missionary Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, an amazing woman of God, she enjoyed singing in the Senior Choir and she was known for her wonderful cooking, especially greens, potato salad, hot water cornbread and occasionally had a fried pork chop sandwich in her purse. She was also an excellent seamstress and could duplicate any dress or pantsuit without any pattern. Mom was an outstanding domino player. She also loved doing crossword puzzles and mom and Hazel had a definite system for coming up with the winning numbers for the Pick 3. She was to everyone, Kitten, Mama, Madea, Big Momma, FuFu, Mrs. Gladys, Sis. Strange and Mother Howard. Who will truly be missed, will forever be loved, and will always be in our hearts.
