Frank’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He loved being with his family and friends more than anything else. When spending time with Frank you could expect to be fed and never have an empty drink. You could count on a few lively games of dominoes and tons of music and laughter, and above all else, you could bet that he (and you) would be rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered as a loving father and dedicated family man, and he will be deeply missed.
Frank Donald English II was born August 15th, 1965, in Terrell, Texas to Frank Donald English Sr. and Virginia Lee English.
Frank graduated from Terrell High School in 1983. After graduation, he joined the United States Army National Guard and attended Tyler Junior College, obtaining his associate degree in accounting.
He served three tours: Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. After 25 years of military service, he retired from the 441st Medical Company with the rank of Master Sergeant and was truly proud of this great accomplishment and the men who served alongside him.
Frank’s civilian career was in restaurant consulting, and he served as a Director of Operations for multiple restaurants nationwide. He loved mentoring his staff and peers and always challenged himself to grow as a leader. As committed as he was to excellence, he was equally committed to serving others. When you were introduced to Frank, you never felt like a stranger. Any person who ever met Frank knew that he genuinely cared about them and their well-being, whether that be someone at work, in an elevator, or the gas station clerk.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank English Sr., mother Virginia English-Nickerson, and father Roosevelt Nickerson Sr. He is survived by his loved one Tracy English, son Chaz English (wife Jade English), grandson Sage English, daughter Anastasia Hoosman, daughter Francesca (English) Ziemann (husband Joshua Ziemann), and the Nickerson and Donley families.
