Francis Joseph Beauchamp, 91, of Fairview, Texas passed away February 28, 2023 peacefully in the loving embrace of his family. Francis (“Frank”) was born September 23, 1931 in Teaneck, New Jersey to Francis and Margaret Beauchamp (O’Rourke). Frank married Patricia Marie Bellew on January 7, 1956 in Paramus, New Jersey. Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Today, Frank is happily reunited in heaven with the love of his life of nearly 56 years, Patricia, who preceded him in death in 2010. Together they will love and care for their grandson, Thomas Peter Beauchamp.
After graduating from St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey with a degree in Chemistry, Frank proudly served his country in the United States Army in Europe beginning in 1951 and was honorably discharged as a Second Lieutenant in 1954. He began a distinguished, 40 year-long, professional career with Pfizer, Inc., in Glens Falls, New York as a Sales Representative. The increasing responsibilities throughout his career brought the family to reside in New York, Georgia, Connecticut, California and Texas. At the time of his retirement in Dallas, Texas, he was responsible for all sales operations for the Labs Division in the southwest United States.
In addition to his many professional successes, Frank’s greatest achievement was being a wonderful Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa Frank to so many! He is survived by children, Kevin Francis Beauchamp and wife Cynthia (Schmitz) of Carmel, Indiana, Thomas Michael Beauchamp and wife Kimberlee (Carpenter) of Victoria, Minnesota, Kathleen Marie Beauchamp of Salem, South Carolina and Mary Beth Berry and husband Craig of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Megan & Filip Matakovic, Christopher & Lisa Beauchamp, Lauren and Travis Fielder, Matthew Beauchamp & Elizabeth McMillan, Kyle & Carly Berry, Caitlin Beauchamp & fiancé, Patrick O’Malley, Ryan Berry, Michael Beauchamp & Jenna Czarneckci, and Maren Beauchamp; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Liam, Avery, Isabel and Franklin; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne & Edward Sherman of The Villages, Florida; sisters-in-law, Arlene Bellew of Walnut Creek, California and Nancy Bellew of Olathe, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews. His father, mother and sisters, Patricia and Marguerite, precede him in death.
A Catholic mass will be celebrated in his honor near his final resting place in the Carolinas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (www.michaeljfox.org) in memory of Francis Joseph Beauchamp.
