Frances Jo Ponder 83, passed away March 13, 2011 in Royse City, TX. She was born April 5,1927 in Como, Texas to Henry Luther Hicks and Mae Gertrude Teer Hicks. Frances Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Ponder in 1996; her daughter, Pamela Joy Armstrong in 2000; her son, David Lynn Ponder in 2005; 9 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Kay Belcher and son-in-law Dean Belcher; grandchildren, Andrea Leigh Ereman, Aimee Denise Tolerton, Aaron David Tolerton, Marcus David Armstrong, and Antony Dean Tolerton; one sister, Mildred Morris age 98; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX 75228. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
