Eugene Joseph Kearney

Eugene Joseph Kearney, age 81 passed away on October 12, 2022 in Mesquite TX. He was born on July 31, 1941 in Brooklyn NY to Sylvestor and Mildred Kearney. Eugene was raised in Brooklyn NY and graduated from Sewanhaka Central High School. He served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1974. He married Glenda E Kearny in 1974 and was an Appliance salesman at APSCO where he worked for more than 30 years.

Eugene enjoyed watching movies and TV, playing with the pets, spending time with the kids, attending sports events and going out to eat. His family and friends will always remember him as caring, full of humor, generous, loveable and always happy. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mildred and Sylvester Kearney and survived by his wife Glenda as well as many close family members including his two cousins Charles and Peter and many nieces and nephews Alexandra, Jerry, Emily, Steven, Edward, Mirna, Margaret, Andrew, Vanessa, Andrea, Franchesca, Carlos, Kevin Jr, Aubry and Samantha.

Eugene will be greatly missed by his family and will live on in the many happy memories and special moments that they all shared together over many years.
