Elvira Acosta, 83, went to her heavenly home on March 12, 2014. Elvira was a devout Catholic. She found her strength in prayer and reading her bible. She was married to the love of her life, Refugio Acosta for 62 years. Elvira enjoyed gambling and playing bingo. Elvira was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Refugio; their children, Joe (Betty) Acosta, Jesse (Susie) Acosta, Julian (Kim) Acosta, Maria (Glen) Acosta, and Richard (Dewina) Acosta; 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Calvary Hill Funeral Home Chapel from 3:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 12 p.m. at the Calvary Hill Mausoleum North Chapel. Entombment will follow.
