Elizabeth McCuan Cook, born November 23, 1925, died September 1, 2011. She was an employee of New York Life Insurance for over thirty years. She was also a National Senior Friends volunteer for 1999, a KRLD 1080 AM Radio Citizen of the Week, and volunteered for 10 years with Medical City Senior Friends. She is survived by daughter, Linda A. Hensel, brother, Bill McCuan and his wife Eveline, grandchildren, Heather L. Granados and Juan M. Granados, and Scott A. Hensel, nieces Freddie Hinton and Patty Walsh, and nephews John McCuan, Tracy McCuan, and Mike McCuan. Visitation will be held at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home on Saturday, September 3 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 4 at 12:00 p.m. at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel.
