Elisa "Feliz,Licha" Acosta Ramirez

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Demetria Acosta, her brothers Antulio (Tony), Heraclio (Rocky) and Moses (Moy) Acosta

Elisa is survived by her beloved family; Husband, Thomas Ramirez Sr, one son, Thomas Ramirez Jr, two daughters Priscilla Tovar and husband Steve and Debbie Ramirez; six grandchildren Stephanie, Steve Jr, and Joseph Tovar, Celeste, Yvonne and Nicholas Ramirez; eight great grandchildren; Steve III, Ashley, Laura, Jasmine and Jacob Tovar, Gianna Aimee Emmitt, Naima Amberlie Emmitt and Jack Carlo Urtes, one sister Tina Arrington of San Diego, CA, and one brother Jesse Acosta Jr of Dallas, TX. She also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews. And her two grand dogs: Chico and Mollie.

Elisa graduated from Crozier Tech in 1956. She worked for Dallas ISD as a clerk at Pinkston High School.

Elisa was a long time member of her church “Templo Aposento Alto” where she loved singing and praising God, playing the piano and tambourine. She also loved going to Zumba, Water Aerobics, and walking everyday with her husband. Elisa looked forward to her weekend calls from her sister. Traveling to places like Hawaii, Cancun, and Las Vegas was a favorite pastime she shared with her sister and niece Trisha. Her family will remember her as a great cook who loved to cook for her family both near and far. She had a caring heart and a giving spirit, always putting others first. She will be dearly missed by all her Family and Friends.
