Mrs. Dorothy J. Jones, age 91, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. Dorothy was born July 25, 1930 in Dallas, TX to Fred and Hazel Spann. She graduated from Sunset High School in 1947.
Dorothy retired from the Army Airforce Exchange on 1993 after 17 years of service. After retirement, Dorothy enjoyed bowling, singing, playing cards and going to the casinos in Laughlin, NV. Dorothy has 6 children, nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gay Hubbard Holloway II, Elbert l. Smith, Jr. and Jerry Jones, sons Tommy Eugene Holloway and Rickey Joe Holloway. She leaves to cherish her memories, her surviving children: Benny Holloway (wife) Cile, Larry Holloway (wife) Pam, Gay Lynn Holloway (husband) Wilson Butler, Rita Holloway Murphy (husband) Jim Murphy, Richard Markle (wife) Pam.
